About the Collections

Small towns often miss out on not just mainstream movies but also the alternatives, like quality short films, because it’s just not viable to distribute the films for small audiences.

Newtown Flicks decided to put together a collection of short films. Each Collection contains some 13 short films on 2 DVDs. It contains both the winning films from each category as well as many of the audience's favourites. These Collections won't be screened on free to air, cable or satellite TV in the foreseeable future so it gives you a unique product to promote for local screenings.

These films provide both diversity in their stories and the manner in which they are told. They include: comedies, dramas, animations and documentaries.

We hope you enjoy them!

If you are not a registered film group, film society or legitimate community charity and you would like to screen the films, please contact Newtown Flicks by email with your enquiry: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
